Re: Edited title: PN - THANK YOU for reading my post! Reputation restored!

Hi - I've just called and left a voicemail.
There's nothing you need to do at the moment.  It looks as though the SNR reset either didn't achieve what we had hoped or didn't go through correctly.
I've just had it resubmitted again for you.

Sorry - phones were unplugged (and I've left my mobile at work too! Grr!) So is this an 'in the next 24 hours' to happen proceedure (that's not a problem btw!)

The connection dropped out at 19:25 tonight, but I think that could have been a power fluctuation with the weather we're having at the moment.

It might have been the reset taking effect. Has the downstream sync speed increased above 6654kbps?

Re: Edited title: PN - THANK YOU for reading my post! Reputation restored!

Sadly it doesn't look like it...
ADSL Link                 Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 6650 kbps       440 kbps
Line Attenuation         26.0 db               10.0 db
Noise Margin       15.20 db               33.0 db
Should I perform another reboot?

No. Let me have a look tomorrow and I'll see what's what with line tests.

Thanks ever so much. Look forward to things being reset back to normal so I can benefit from the ADSL2+
Really appreciating the efforts being made now.

Sorry to add another post to the tread - just adding current info...
There is still no evidence of the line being reset - it's been up for the last 11 hours (since its little wobble last night). Fingers crossed for today.
Thanks again.

Sometimes a reset request does not "take".  Hopefully Plusnet will pick up on this and try again.

Morning - Banding is still there.
I'll see if there is anything that we can do about it.

I have a member of my team raising a fault on your line to get the banding removed.
This might take a little bit of time but please rest assured that we are on it and will do whatever we can to get it sorted.

Thanks ever so much. Just so I'm not nagging, what sort of period are we looking at - a few days? I don't want to be nagging and taking up people's time with unnecessary posts!

Hiya,
I've just left you a voicemail.
Banding has been removed and I've applied a line profile of 14.8Mbps at our end (to match BTs).
Should be about twice as quick as it was before!

Thank you so much for this and for the direct, personal touch (e.g. voicemail)
Just one more question then before this thread can be hopefully consigned to the depths of the forum!
At the moment I'm using a borrowed router (which I can keep online for as long as necessary). At what stage will it be safe to disconnect this to pop in and configure a new one ? I don't want to upset the system again by disconnecting the router too soon! I've no immediate rush to do this though.
Thank you once again everyone!
