Getting in from work at 6am. I take advantage of the free download period before 0800hrs, I now find this service sometimes impossible to use because its so slow
Some morning at 600Kbs download
See the images for today
I have read the forum page on speed problems but that didnt help
This problem only occurs before 8.00pm - is it because the PN is being deluged by early morning downloads ?
I downloaded the PN Assist software this morning and it took over 10 mins to download the 9Mb
Ebay is impossible to use when the speed is so slow
When I try again at lets say 0900 its back to my normal 6 -7 Mbs speed
Any ideas ?

Your upload as well as download is much slower than it should be in those speed test results. This problem shouldn't be Plusnet capacity related. It's odd that performance returns to normal after 8am.
I suggest going through the troubleshooter at http://faults.plus.net as a low speed fault. You do need to carry out performance tests on the BT Checker http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/, including the Further Diagnostics test, both when the line performs well and when performance is poor.

HI there,
Are you connecting over a wired or wireless connection? If you're using a wired connection then I'd suggest running through our faults wizard, if you're not using a wired connection then it would be worth trying this to rule the wireless out.
