I've been a Plusnet customer for over 5 years. My current contract is due to expire in March 2024 but I've got a new 24 month contract offer showing in my account. So I've got a couple of questions:
- I take it I'm allowed to renew with this new 24-month deal which will cancel my current contract early and I won't be penalised? I'm pretty confident this isn't entrapment but just want to make sure 😁
- My original Plusnet router started playing up a couple of contracts ago so I picked up a BT HomeHub off ebay. I see PlusNet now has a shiny new Hub 2 which allows private DNS settings. Have I understood correctly that I can get the new hub but will have to pick up the £6.99 P&P bill? Or am I eligible for a freebie because I've not had a new one in 5 years? I thought worth an ask!
Thanks!
Fixed! Go to the fix.

You could wait until nearer you contract renewal date as in my experiences is when you get closer to the end date you may get a better offer.
Also the renewal maybe for 'Fibre' or 'Full Fibre' neither offer landline phone, which may be important to you.
1) No will not be charged an early termination fee
2) You will have to pay £6.99 p&p. This fee applies to new customers as well

Thanks for that, @Dan_the_Van . The offered deal is better than what I'm on and I haven't used a landline since... I can't remember. So I think I know what I'll be doing.
Thanks again.
