Early Migration?

Hi guys,
Due to migrate from o2 to Plusnet tomorrow, however the o2 broadband appears to have "died" router shows "Connecting...." Router has been rebooted etc
I'm thinking somehow it's been done early however the Plusnet connection doesn't appear to have been activated as it's not due until tomorrow, on hold to CS now but with 126 calls in the queue I'm not holding holding my breath for an answer anytime soon.
Any ideas or anything I can do to get it manually activated?
Cheers!
Mark

Re: Early Migration?

Just an update, spoke to CS who said they couldn't see the order, and we'd have to wait (We now have no connection) The broadband light is solid green and the error is authentication failed, the guy confirmed that the username was not activated, but said he wouldn't activate it manually and couldn't tell me why.
So basically we're now left with no connection at all until whenever BT decided to let PN know they've done the order, not a very good first impression guys Sad

Re: Early Migration?

Hopefully, not too much of an issue as i'm at a friends right now and wont be back until tomorrow evening anyway, I just would have preferred a more useful answer from CS after being on hold for nearly an hour haha!

Re: Early Migration?

I can see that you're online now, it looks as though the password that was being typed into the router was incorrect which was the reason you were unable to authenticate.
Please do let us know if we can be of any further help.

Re: Early Migration?

Cheers Chris, all up an running now.
Strange though I'm confident the password was correct, and it came online at some point when I wasn't even in the house, but just glad it's working now anyway.

Re: Early Migration?

Well since you asked  Grin
Would it be possible to get the upload cap removed? Or we I have wait until the DLM period is over, Not sure if 1 disconnect (I assume it will need to resync) would affect this?
Cheers
