Re: E mailing a web page

Do you mean IE6 (Internet Explorer 6)? OE6 is Outlook Express 6.

Re: E mailing a web page

A BT speedtester result is not a fixed page, of course, but is given 'live', so how would you be able to email it?
PrntScrn and send it as a JPEG would be easier.

Re: E mailing a web page

if it is to yourself, why e-mail it?  just highlight it (drag to cursor over it till it changes colour) then copy and paste into where you want it, I am sure you didn't want the whole page.
Short cut to copy is Ctrl and c  paste is Ctrl  And v
You can of course paste it into an e-mail or this message box

Re: E mailing a web page

IE7 top right toolbar "Page" dropdown menu contains the options "send page as email" and "send link as email".

Re: E mailing a web page

That wont work with the B.T test site, as if sent as attachment I cant open it because of some security thing and if as page it says there is a script error I can howeversave it to my docs andsend from there if I wish to.
I am sure I was once able to click and sendas google mail, but not any more.

Re: E mailing a web page

Simplist solution I find for this sort of problem is to print to a pdf file. Then email it to whoever you want.
There are various freebies out there. I found the trial download version of "easyPDF Creator" works fine with these temp page issues and better than most. It leaves a stamp on the bottom right of all your docs which isn't a problem, plus the web page and time.
You can download easypdf at
http://www.pdfonline.com/easypdf/
NB Buying a copy gets rid of the stamp otherwise there isn't a time restriction on the trial.

Totally free pdf creator: http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator
Any program that can print can create a pdf. Works an absolute treat.
