Dropping Connection

I seem to keep dropping connection for short periods 10-15secs at a time - I have had PC problems so not convinced it is the router to the net but possibly my PC to the router.
Could a member of the team post my connection graph for me please?

Hi,
Your connection log below.

You connection has been fairly stable.
Do you connect wireless? It could be a wireless issue.

Re: Dropping Connection

Thanks  Smiley
Yes I do, the router is the other side of the house plugged into one of those new unflitered fang dangled sockets  - I think it's a wireless issue. Will go and 'fiddle' with the router position.
I'm thinking of getting a new one anyway as BT say my exchange should be upgraded to 21c by the end of Sept tho' I'm not holding my breath. Any one got any recommendations what to buy?

Jim where would I find the router stats Im looking for? I can get onto my router page no problem but not sure I would understand the stats if I do find them!  Grin

Re: Dropping Connection

As you already know how to get the stats I assume you are referring to the log - I have no idea since you haven't said which router you are using but have you tried Google or the manual

The past 2 nights the same thing has happened to my connection also, but im in my last day of the (10 days cooling) i get after moving my broadband and my issues could be down to my line settlement. And im using a new pc and new tp-link router along with new filters n all.
If this happens regular i may have to drop a support ticket in.
