@Markwallwork0  This is the automated system (DLM) reducing SNRM in stages which will increase your speed. It can go down to 3dB if the line remains stable. On my line for other reasons it can go even lower and still operate perfectly OK.

I wouldn't worry too much, everyone wants better speeds.😀

@Markwallwork0 If you are on FTTC, the default is 6dB, but if you have a good line, anything between 3dB-6dB is acceptable, providing the lower values don't induce xDSL drops.

Thanks well I’ve seen 3 drop outs in a week but all at 1am ish. Could this be DLM learning the best speed ? I

@Markwallwork0  That's exactly what DLM is doing. If the line drops out or there are increased numbers of errors it may increase the SNRM to get the line more stable. It is is doing this all the time, not just the first few weeks after installation.

Re: Drop outs a 1am twice this week and drop on SNR

I’ve had another drop out at 1pm. 12 hours after the first. Came back up,with a night sync marginally and still 5.2 db. Tbh I can’t get much fast than 72 on my wi fi. I will keep an eye on it as I’d rather a slightly lower speed than these drop outs
