Downloading slower than connection speed?

I'm glad to see that. I've adjusted the speed profile on your account now. If you do a single disconnect/reconnect of the PPP session in your router interface you should feel a bit of a boost in speed.

Thank you Gandalf, that seems to have done the trick. D/L 4.88Mbps. I tried to add a picture from http://www.speedtest.net/ but it doesn't display...

Can I expect that to be permanent, or is it possible it could resort to a lower speed.

It is very much as I sought to hint at - given the reason why the DLM had 'managed' the line to such a high SNRM was not known / known to be resolved, it is possible that the DLM could do the same again.

Keep a watching eye on the SNRM and actual sync speed figures.
