Download speeds down by half lately

I am on ADSL2+  and normally get  about 12.8 Mb/s download regularly. Last couple of days its below 6Mb/s on various test sites, including BT. My IP profile is 13.97Mb/s Upload speed is normal at about 1Mb/s. All other router stats are normal. I am on Telehouse West gateway ptw-ag04.
Anyone else getting poor results !

Check your Current Line Speed (log-in required).
If you have had a low synch event which has then corrected itself, the Current Line Speed can sometimes take a while to catch up, or even get stuck.

Hi Dabow,
I've checked your line and everything appears fine (A few errors but not enough to affect the speed that much). I recommend you simply reboot your router and if you continue to have problems please post us your BT Wholesale speedtest result and we'll investigate further.

Thanks for the checks LukeS. Have carried out a re-boot and things seem to be back to normal. All speed check sites give the same result of about 13Mb/s download which is normal for me. Thanks all for the advice.
