My download speed, as measured by the BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test, has today plummeted from the normal 6.7 - 6.9Mpbs to 0.88Mpbs; my IP profile is unchanged at 7.15Mbps. My exchange is Nettlebed (01491), which is Market 1.
Can anybody account for this?

I'm going to run a quick line test to see if anything obvious crops up.

Ah Chris careful he's had problems with sync speed here.
What's your Current Line speed (Login required) kbt? At least this doesn't sound the same as your previous issue! However your exchange is due some Planned Engineering works in the early hours of the 22nd with a 90 minute outage (usually PPP session only) whether this is related I've no idea.
Try this ThinkBroadband Speedtest
Edit: In view of the fact it may be a 90 minute outage - when you've finished using your connection on the night of the 21st, I think I'd be inclined to log into your 582n and Disconnect the PPP Internet session and just leave it like that until the following morning, just log into it and click Connect then.
2nd edit, I see Chris is suggesting doing a Disconnect/Connect now.

Nothing showing as an issue at all.
The line is synced at 8128, the profile is 7150 (and hasn't changed from that for a while).
I can see the very low speedtest result on the test too,
Can you try a single disconnect/reconnect? If that doesn't solve it, get a fault raised here and I'll get someone to look asap. https://faults.plus.net

Before
Looks like panic over, guys: BTW now reports 6.99Mbps, TBB reports 6.86Mbps.
Here's the router stats:
Uptime: 7 days, 5:30:31
DSL Type: ITU-T G.992.1
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 8,128
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [MB/GB]: 221.54 / 3.16
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 11.9 / 19.9
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 12.0 / 19.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 31.0 / 4.9
System Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / ----
Chipset Vendor ID (Local/Remote): BDCM / TSTC
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / -
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / -
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / -
Loss of Link (Remote): -
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 224 / -
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 0
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 243
HEC Errors (Up/Down): - / 130
The relatively short uptime is due to some power outages we had a week or so ago.

Oh well, glad all is OK now. Error rate still looks extremely nice and low and no interleaving
I don't suppose you know which Gateway you were on. Obviously you can check which you are on now.
Don't forget that suggested Disconnect for the early hours of the 22nd.
