Download speed issues

Currently getting less than good download speeds for the last week or two, although upload speeds seem fine. Phone has also been crackling. Had problems back in February that were fixed by a new microfilter. I've already replaced the microfilter this time (bought two and tried them both, same results) and I'm still having issues.

Just ran a BT wholesale speed check and got:
Down: 1.50 Mbps
Up: 0.81 Mbps
Ping: 40.88
Ping and upstream seem OK, but the down speeds are woeful. Any ideas? CRC and HEC errors seem very high based on my last (good) Link Info check, but I have no idea what this means.
Cheers

Re: Download speed issues

Hey Adam,
Thanks for the reply and nice to hear you're a fellow follower of the Bronson.
So I tried to raise a fault using the Broadband Troubleshooter and it pushes me through to the Phone Troubleshooter instead (due to the line being noisy on calls). Which would be the better for a quick solution?
Cheers
Edit: The Phone Troubleshooter also didn't work for me twice in a row ... just finished with an error message.
