Hi,
Since the beginning of December my Download speeds have been dropping off. I usually get between 6 and 7 Mbps but lately this has dropped to below 1 Mbps. It will eventually pick up again and i get roughly around 5 Mbps for a short period but its not long before it drops to below 1 Mbps again.
Its so bad that the internet is barely even useable at times and i'm unable to browse most websites without having to wait several minutes for it to load up. Its noticeably worse in the evenings starting at 4pm.
FYI i am running everything wired and nobody else is on the network.
Can somebody take a look to see if there are any issues.
One thing i did notice and worth mentioning is that when i run a tracert the round trip times are much further apart than they usually would be.
tracert bbc.co.uk Tracing route to bbc.co.uk [212.58.244.22] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms N66U [192.168.1.1] 2 22 ms 20 ms 36 ms lo0.central10.psb-bng02.plus.net [195.166.130.253] 3 49 ms 48 ms 50 ms 411.be6.psb-ir01.plus.net [84.93.253.107] 4 31 ms 21 ms 42 ms core1-BE1.southbank.ukcore.bt.net [195.99.125.130] 5 33 ms 115 ms 42 ms 62.172.103.193 6 25 ms 55 ms 22 ms 195.99.126.101 7 * * * Request timed out. 8 * * * Request timed out. 9 270 ms 69 ms 77 ms ae0.er01.telhc.bbc.co.uk [132.185.254.109] 10 38 ms 88 ms 67 ms 132.185.255.148 11 33 ms 56 ms 47 ms 212.58.244.22 Trace complete.

Sorry to hear that.
Our tests aren't showing any issues.
Can you go through the steps here and raise this so we can look into this.
