Download speed drop

Hi
Today my download speed has dropped to below 1 meg some test only 512
My sync is 7431 was a touch higher before I rebooted the router (just in case )
My Bt profile is 6500 and 6000 your end.
This is on 2 systems connected to a DG834GT
Am I alone

To follow up my own post  speed not improved and had loss of service twice today
due to being given an incorrect IP address. 175 something , this has happened before
what is going on today

Hi Zimmer,
It sounds like you might have been getting assigned a BT RAS IP address, which prevents you from getting online.  Can you please raise it as a fault via http://faults.plus.net if that problem continues.

Hi Yes I have had that problem before, that is fine now , speed is not however ,
still only managing 2 meg tops , yet up till yesterday , and even over the weekend
with wimbledom I was getting 5.5 meg ,
Today I cant even stream BBC I player
What gives ?

Today again speeds very slow 512 ATM upload is faster !
Any +net team out there, I don't want to raise a ticket and jump through
hundreds of needless hoops,
My connection is fine sync steady no dropouts bt profile 6meg
But throughput is rubbish, can someone take a look please
