Do I need the router before the FTTC install?

I booked an engineer visit for an FTTC install a week or two ago, for Weds next week, and the order process seemed to suggest I needed an FTTC specific router so went with the PN one.
Payment was taken straight away but my account details are saying hardware dispatch pending as the order hasn't been placed.
Anything to worry about?

Re: Do I need the router before the FTTC install?

you router is normally despatched so that it arrives the day before your install, so shouldn't be anything to worry about.
you can directly plug your pc into the mode and create a pppoe session if the worst does come to the worst.
sure a PN rep will ensure your router is sent out in time Wink

Hi richandsian,
Whilst I have every confidence in our automated systems, I dispatched your router manually for you this morning. Expect it by Monday/Tuesday  Smiley
