Here is the PPoe settings page - I think I've preconfigured it to be ready (My Son will be connecting up) Can anyone see anything I need to change?
Thanks

I seem to recall that needed the very latest firmware...

Engineer just arrived (20 minutes early - but that is OK, he called to check if someone is in)
Son is at home to let him in. Router has not arrived though. Hopefully the Asus will just work.

He fitted the faceplate, then wandered out to the cabinet, to find some BTW engineers in the process of installing the fibre. "Its not ready - it'll be another month"
BTW line checker showed FTTC available 1 1/2 weeks ago, and the plusnet upgrade system started offering fibre at the same time.
What now?

If the engineer can't carry out the installation for this reason, we'll need to await the engineers report on this and take further action.

IMPORTANT:
I've had an email today to say my product change is complete
1 - We need to ensure my ADSL doesn't stop.
2 - We need to ensure I'm not charged for FTTC when I'm not getting it.
Ps
Bit of feedback re engineer.
Good:
Arrived
On time (early)
Bad
after failed install, he left the new faceplate in place, meaning ADSL wont' work. I've now got the faceplate hanging off, and the router/phone plugged into the test socket.

If you plug the ADSL router in to the socket on the new filtered face plate it will work. The ADSL will only be broken if you were connecting the ADSL in to an extension socket.

EDIT: Or at least it would have done, but it doesn't work. Off to change the faceplate.

Fortunately not changed the faceplate yet.
Edit - yes well, hummm.... Seems to have fixed it.
Thanks Jelv.
