Re: Disconnecting

Good afternoon,
I have taken a look and run a couple of tests.
Your connection and radius looks fine as shown below.
<img src="http://community.plus.net/visualradius/generated/image14242792542410.png"/>
You have a lot of errors on your line these would make it look like you are disconnecting as shown in the attachment attached to this post.
I would advise raising an a fault so we can investigate.

Re: Disconnecting

Hello JohuaC,
My wife received a phone today saying they can't find any fault, even though my avg download speed as been 1.5meg today allday from roughly 4 meg approx 19.30 tonight my internet light went red again and had to manually switch router on/off again to,reconnect to Internet can honestly say there is something wrong complete opposite to the phone call and emails from plusnet staff have changed filter when I rebooted router,, can't check test socket as it is wired.
Have  had an history of speeds dropping and disconnections in the past but staff normally sort it out.
Please advise
Thanks.
Den.

Re: Disconnecting

We need to do some VP checks just to double check the exchange for you. Before we do that though, can you confirm the speed tests results that you achieve from a wired connection? Thanks.

Sorry again but this is the best I can do, good thing is the speedtest as very slightly gone up but well under half normal speed.
Thanks for a speedy reply.

Re: Disconnecting

Your sync speed as halved since the test that Josh did the other day. Has anything changed wiring wise?

Re: Disconnecting

Hello Den,
Can you hear/have you heard any crackling or other noises on the line when using the phone? Have you had any problems with incoming or outgoing calls?  If needed, try the Quiet Line Test 17070 option 2.
Do you have a Master Socket similar to the one on the left?
What extension phone sockets (if any) do you have, and what is plugged in where?
Do all your Microfilters look similar to this?

Re: Disconnecting

Hello anotherone.
Quiet line test done very, very faint static noise.
Yes master socket same as left photo.
No extensions just the master socket.
Thanks.

Re: Disconnecting

Hi Den,
I've run some further testing on your line today and I think it would be beneficial to have an engineer take a closer look at your circuit.  I will update your fault ticket with more information shortly.
Thanks

Re: Disconnecting

Hello Andy,
Thanks for the update, when you  say engineer look at my circuit what exactly do you mean, at the exchange or at my address?
Thanks in advance.
