Disappointing FTTC Speeds
Despite all efforts it still looks like I'm getting rock stable ADSL speeds

I thought you had a fault raised, but just checked and you haven't. Can you get one raised and I'll get an engineer arranged. Please include 3 possible appointment times Monday to Friday either 8am-1pm or 1-6pm.

If I put the right ticket to the right place, then yes.
It should read 'any time is best' really I'm always at home, so you can send folks over when there is a slot for an appointment.

Looks like whatever you did fixed it for now. I'll keep an eye on it and report back if it throws a tantrum, but something tells me you found the right switch.
