Disable DNS service on technicolor tg582n router - how?

Hi,
I have just started up with Plusnet and have been supplied a technicolor tg582n router which current deals with the internal networks dns service.  I want that handled by my network server (only for internal network-I'm not hosting a website).  How do I disable the DNS service on this router?

To double check, you want to turn the DHCP server off in the router so it doesn't dish out internal network IP addresses and just acts as the gateway?

Re: Disable DNS service on technicolor tg582n router - how?

You have to configure it on the PCs in their networking settings to not use DHCP and not get DNS settings automatically. You can't just change it on the router.
If you haven't changed the router DHCP allocation range you'll probably want to give your PCs IP addresses in range 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.63
Edit: See Kelly's post below if you have a DHCP server on your network. My post is only correct if you haven't.

There is an option to disable the DHCP in the admin interface of the router I believe.
If you've a separate DHCP server on your network it should handle the rest.

Hi Kelly,
Could you be a bit more specific as to where to find that option as I cannot see it?
Thanks,

I think what you want can be found at Home > Home Network > Interfaces > LocalNetwork then configure

I forgot to ask one thing.  If it all goes horribly wrong I assume the reset button will return everything back to how it was?

Well I finally tried this out and following Kelly's instructions I disabled DHCP on the router & activated on my Mac Server.  The router still dished out IP addresses.  What happened?
