Difference between PN Fibre and BT Infinity

Hi guys,
I am due to become a PN customer, I am just wondering what to expect? At the moment I have a quite nice ping in World of Warcraft (about 15 ms) on a european based server.
I am moving to PN because of the cheaper pricing as I was pay £42 inc VAT for just the broadband with BT and that was for the 38Mb.
Am I right in presuming that I won't notice any difference regarding ping? It should pretty much stay the same right because the same technology and routing is being used?

There really shouldn't be any real difference - it's the same product.
