Re: Delivery of router from PN.

The boxes have been designed to fit through a standard letterbox so naturally Mr/Ms postie will do just that.

So the packaging will be sturdy enough ? I had a phone call from my wife who was concerned it would break. Will check tomorrow.

Don't think there is an ISO letter box is there ?.
or second thoughts there may well be - and British builders didn't use it - after all we Brits know best.............  Shocked
The package didn't fit through mine and posty left a little card.

Re: Delivery of router from PN.

We've done various amounts of "drop testing" of the routers (when packaged).

Re: Delivery of router from PN.

I did some "drop testing" on one of mine (by accident down the stairs without the packaging), and it is still working fine.  It did also get wet once while sat on my desk user an open loft window which we forgot to close when going out, only for us to have heavy rain.  It carried on working though, which is more can be said for the paper work that was piled up next to it!

Re: Delivery of router from PN.

Obviously we have to, to ensure the router still works after it's been put through the letter box.

Ours knocked rather than take risk of anything breaking

Re: Delivery of router from PN.

My first one got posted through the letter box and the 2nd was dropped off with a neighbour.  I *think* they both work ok but thats a different story...
