Apparently this will be picked up and activated by automation at some point, but no joy so far... it's been a couple of hours since the engineer left.
Any idea how long this should take?

Kelly - I would love a 2nd opinion on whether or not this process will work (cease line 2, and renumber line 1 to the old number from line 2). Not that I don't believe James, I'm just insanely cautious about ceasing a BT line and not being able to retrieve the number promptly!
