I've recently had fibre installed, the engineer did his thing and connected up the OR modem with a sync speed of 44mbs down and 8mbs up. He left me to install and config the plusnet router in my own time. All appears to have gone well The issue I have is that I'm away from home until the 16th November and I won't be able to connect the plusnet router untill that time. The OR modem is powered up. Will this delay and none use affect the speed? Does the 10 day stabilisation/training period come into affect on the fibre install day or when the plusnet router is first connected? Are there any other issues this setup delay may cause?
