Degraded Peak Hours Throughput speeds

Hi, the last week or so I have seen a big drop in throughput speed, connection is stable and connected at around 12meg, but recently from about 7pm the usable speed drops to around 4meg, I have tested with 2 routers same outcome. This looks to me like a network congestion issue, is there any info you can give me about my exchange that might explain the recent issue. Thanks

Re: Degraded Peak Hours Throughput speeds

Hi davidmorgan16,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us via our community forums regarding your issues. I have performed some quick tests on your connection and can see that the connection is running as it should be. I can see that you did have an issue back in April of this year with external corrosion but this doesn't seem to be the reason effecting this.

Can you please monitor this over the next couple of days and perform speedtest to http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ at the times you are noticing the drops and then post the results in a reply to us.

Also can you please perform these checks as well from this link as they can help https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/connection-troubleshooting/
