Decent Speed and Ping but in game PING 600-5000

When I am trying to play any game online at the moment, on any server I am getting Ping ranging from 200-5000.
I have done the following:
Reset my router
Cleared DNS
Disabled all firewalls as well as making sure all ports are clear.
It still is exactly the same, been like this for about a week now.
Please could you help me.

Never ever disable firewalls, do you leave your front door open when you go out? So don't as you are just leaving your pc open to attack.
What game/s
Did you just install the game and it uses a small installer that patches as you play? e.g. Wow/EQ2 do this
Are you the only one online
Do you have anything in background downloading, IPlayer/Steam/P2P application
FTTP 500 regrade from Tues 28th November

I disabled the firewall temporarily to rule it out as a conection issue, but whether I should or not is off topic.
No background downloads, I'm the one using the Internet in the house.
I have tried the following games and found that they all are lagging out due to my connection:
• Facebook browser - Shadowgun
• War thunder
• HL2 DM
I have never had a problem in the past, I believe it is to do with my line.

Re: Decent Speed and Ping but in game PING 600-5000

Keep a ping running in the background while you try to play the games again and see what results you get.
windows key + r
type "cmd" without quotes and hit enter
type "ping -t bbc.co.uk" without quotes and hit enter
You should see it starting to ping BBC servers. Leave it running and play a game again. When you come back hit ctrl + C to stop it and copy the ping statistics. ("right click -> mark" to hilight text then hit enter to copy it)

Have you tried another router? You have HEC & CRC Errors on both up and down streams. The SNR margin is too low on the downstream, this is known to cause throughput issues.
I've done a quick test on your line and found that the profile has been set to "WBC 160K - 24M Medium delay (INP 1) 3dB Downstream, 448 Low delay (INP 0) 6dB Upstream (ADSL2+)".
I've reset your line and placed a modify order to increase the target noise ratio to 6db (default). This should help with the ping/throughput issues. If this doesn't work, and you don't have a spare router let us know as your current router is in warranty so we'll be able to replace this for you.
The modify order will complete in 24 hours.
Any other issues let me know.

Sorry for the late response, been busy with work and not had chance to test the games.
I do not have another router, please could it be replaced in warranty.
Thanks, Luke

Re: Decent Speed and Ping but in game PING 600-5000

No problem.
I've just arranged for the replacement router to be sent out. It should be dispatched today and definitely be with you by Friday although it can sometimes take up to 5 working days to arrive.
Just completed another test on your line to make sure the changes I've made were successful and all is looking stable without errors on our end now.
Let me know if you're still having issue once you've got the new router set up.
