DSL stats for TG582N

Having just had Essentials Fibre installed, the TG582N Gateway only shows info concerning WAN rather than DSL which I would like to keep an eye on. Is there any way I can get this info other than the BT Wholesale speed checker?

Not without hacking the BT modem - Not recommended

So is there any other means by which I can view up to the minute up/download speeds?

Only via the BT speedtest which gives the variable downstream profile but a fixed upstream profile

Thank you Oldjim. Have you any info on whether 'Router Stats' programme will work with my set up please?

it may but it still won't give you any useful information as the router doesn't know anything about the internet connection as that is all handled by the modem

In case it may be of use, a senior member of the Kitz forum has produced a router monitoring program to work with Broadcom based routers. Thomsons work with it subject to some minor limitations.
