Hiya,
My connection has been stable at 10meg down / 1.1 meg up with a steady 30-40ms ping ever since I got someone at PlusNET to sort out my IP Profile a good few months ago.
Now, tonight my connection dropped out for 5 minutes or so, and has reconnected with the following:
Router Link Information
Uptime: 0 days, 0:04:41
DSL Type: ITU-T G.992.5
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 440 / 11.606

Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12,8 / 0,0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 18,5 / 38,0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 27,3 / 2,9
System Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / ----
Chipset Vendor ID (Local/Remote): BDCM / IFTN

Loss of Link (Remote): -
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 27 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 2.341
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 42
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 192
BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test
Broadband Speed Test Results
Download Speed: 8.29 Mbps
Upload: 0.37 Mbps
Ping: 52.75ms
PlusNET Member Centre Line Speed:
Estimated line speed:
8Mb (This may vary between 6.5Mb and 14Mb) - Checked on 2013-09-08 13:46:12
Current line speed:
8.8 Mb
Attatched the BTW Performance Test Diagnostic results.
I restarted my router about 20 minutes after I reconnected at this sync and got the same, so now my steady 10meg download is borked, my game streaming is impossible at any sort of watchable quality (think minecraft through the bottom of a jam jar) and my ping has jumped by ~20ms.
Anything I can do to sort this? Besides getting my profile sorted again 😕

Current line speed should sort itself out automatically within 24 hours (if the automatic update system works). Your upload is now capped - were you expecting that?

Nope I wasnt expecting that at all
Any reason why my upload is now capped? I'll be looking at different providers if thiers nothing that can be done to rectify it.

Plusnet will place an order to uncap again. Do you have a fault investigation ongoing that might have led to it being capped?

Hi there,
Sorry about that, it'll be because we hadn't marked the upload increase on your account so when the interleaving was added as part of the fault process it capped the upstream. I'd be happy to remedy both of those but would rather wait until the fault is fixed first, just to make sure it's not interfering with anything.

Hi Matt, to the rescue again
That would be great if you could do it once the fault is sorted out
