DNS problems

I appear to be having been having problems accessing various website and appear to be having issue with the plusnet 212.159.13.49/50 DNS servers
The alternate servers 212.159.6.9/10 appear to work OK for me, and I have manually reconfigured my router to use these.
Does anyone else see a similar response as below to a nslookup of www.netflix.com ?
Thanks,
Nick
nslookup www.netflix.com
Server:        212.159.13.49
Non-authoritative answer:
www.netflix.com canonical name = www.eu-west-1.netflix.com.

Re: DNS problems

Welcome to the PN forum...
What sites are you having issues with and in what way?
Your results look perfectly normal to me. Different addresses are returned for sites such as Netflix as the load is shared across multiple servers eg
nslookup www.netflix.com 8.8.8.8
Server:  google-public-dns-a.google.com
Address:  8.8.8.8
Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    www.eu-west-1.prodaa.netflix.com
Addresses:  2a01:578:3::2e89:a3cc
         54.228.191.156
Aliases:  www.netflix.com
         www.eu-west-1.netflix.com
nslookup www.netflix.com 8.8.8.8
Server:  google-public-dns-a.google.com
Address:  8.8.8.8
Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    www.eu-west-1.prodaa.netflix.com
Addresses:  2a01:578:3::36d9:fd50
         54.247.102.156
Aliases:  www.netflix.com
         www.eu-west-1.netflix.com

Re: DNS problems

OK, understood; changes to the DNS seemed to be in sync with the access to the website working / not working - now no longer the case  Sad
Does anyone have any other suggestions; I am having intermittent problems accessing some websites e.g. www.netflix.com
Problem is the same across multiple devices ( wired or wifi ); phones work OK on 3G, but fail through WiFi / ADSL
Most websites work OK; some I am unable to access or only partially work e.g. text but no graphics, or sections fail; this seems consistent for a period (hours - days), then work OK
There was no changes to the setup here, until I started investigating the problem ...
Suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick
