It has no effect if I do or if I don't and set my router to collect the DNS from yourselves.  I'm able to browse using the OpenDNS server suggestion above, but not if I hardcode the DNS or leave it up to plusnet to inform my router.

I just wondered as the values should be 212.159..........
Not sure if that was a typo or what you were actually trying.
Does 212.159.13.49 / 50 make any difference?

The DNS servers were the ones listed by my router when set to get DNS from IP directly.  Having said that, the router does appear to be showing that even when I set them manually (odd behaviour).  I've noted the ones you list (incidentally also the ones recommended on the plusnet manual connect site) and I'll give them a try.  Thx for sticking with this.

OK, I've manually set the DNS to the ones suggested by Mark here and it seems to be working fine now.  Why my router is picking up the .9 and .10 rather than .49 and .50 I only wish I knew.
