DNS Down

Approximately at 15:00 thought I lost internet connection but found out that one of PN DNS servers is down.

C:\>nslookup plus.net
*** Can't find server name for address 212.159.6.9: No response from server
Server:  ptn-cdns02.plus.net
Address:  212.159.6.10
Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    plus.net
Addresses:  212.159.9.2, 212.159.8.2

Now off to reconfigure some of my equipment as my modem/router only seem to pass on the first DNS.

Re: DNS Down

Looks like 212.159.13.49 and 212.159.6.9 are having issues. I'm just preparing a service status post and briefing the CSC.

Re: DNS Down

Yes working now, But have showed weaknesses in my setup as I lost VoIP as I have only given the device 1 static DNS and have to look at the DHCP on the modem/router only passing on one DNS. Fortunately I had given my email server several static DNS.

Re: DNS Down

It's working fine for me from here and my home connection, nothing showing in monitoring now either. Which server and URLs are you having issues with?
