Re: DMT screen snap hall of infamy

OK, just for comparison, here's mine. Note that Taxisofevil and I have about the same downstream attenuation rate. We get very different speeds though. You can't see what my sync speeds are because I'm using a version of DMT that isn't designed for UK lines (it's the only version that works with my ZyXEL P660HW-61 router). The figures are 4538 down and 808 up. IP profile is 3500 (if my sync speed were 4544+ it would be 4000 - Grr.)
I've no idea why I'm on fastpath rather than interleaved. Maybe it's something to do with being banded - my speed improved recently, but I'm tending to go along with Asbo's verdict that I'm probably on a band that maxes at 4.5mb/s. I recently had my bell wire snipped, which helped considerably, and I'm hoping eventually to get a higher speed. But this will take time, and for now I'm happy, as until recently my profile was 2500.

Re: DMT screen snap hall of infamy

My router has been severely DMT'd - usually I settle for a 6dB noise margin,
but I've got it at a rather aggressive 4.5dB (Daytime) and 3dB (nightime).
If it hangs on just a little longer, I might even achieve a 6.5Mbps Smiley
BTW When the BT engineer called he said I was 1700m from the exchange.

And here's mine. I have used the DMT tool to force SNR to current level using the 10% noise margin setting - it won't go any lower.

Re: DMT screen snap hall of infamy

Can anybody spot the difference between mine and everyone elses.  Thats right no ADSL2+ and no 512 tones.  Embarrassed  I know about the fast path I asked them to turn interleaving off.
