I'm still in the 10 day training period but there have been no disconnects within this period to attempt to try the line at a higher speed. It appears to be stuck at approx. 15mb. On my previous ISP I was able to connect at 18-19 at around 3db with no instability.
Will the DLM attempt at higher speeds?

It takes a couple of weeks at least to try a reduced noise margin of 3dB
The bit I don't understand is why the default noise margin changed when you moved to Plusnet - were you on LLU before

I was. It comfortably sat at 3db with no issues.

Hi faite,
Once the 10 day training period is up we may be able to try and tweak your SNR settings if needed.
Let me know how your speeds are when this is up.
