I have been with Plus net for years now and have been very happy with them. I had a Netgear DG834GT modem which has been fine up until I got 3 Xbox 360s in the house. It has very flaky UPNP support and I could only ever get one XBOX with open NAT.
After lots of research I changed my modem to a Dlink DSL_2640B which gives me 3 open Nat xboxs and 3 happy kids!
However my connection now seems unstable. I get regular (every 12 hours) disconnections and I have to reboot the modem to restore the connection. With the netgear it would stay untouched for months.
Are there any settings that maybe I need to change on the Dlink? It must be a problem withe the modem and not a filter issue etc as its too coincendental.
Any ideas?
