Current Line Speed - Pathetic.

Plusnet doesn't stop amazing me how good and reliable their broadband is for the money paid..  Roll_eyes
IP Profile - 2000. Ever since I asked for help improving my speed since it was cut in half when I moved to plusnet from Sky. It has decreased from 3500 to 2000.
£18.99 a month for this [Censored] broadband service.
Interleaving may be off, could that be a cause? If so please turn it on.

Re: Current Line Speed - Pathetic.

Hi Barrytrcy,
I would also expect you to get better than that with a downstream attenuation of 37. If you follow the troubleshooting guide through and that doesn't help then there is an option further down the page to raise a fault which I definitely would do.

Re: Current Line Speed - Pathetic.

I was expecting to see more errors than your stats show which makes me think interleaving isn't going to make a lot of difference.
A description of your setup, how many telephone sockets you have, what is plugged in to each (including where you have splitters) might let us give you pointers of where to look for a speedy resolution

Re: Current Line Speed - Pathetic.

We have one telephone socket downstairs, connected to that is the router then it connected to our PC by wireless.
We have the old bt master socket so no test socket behind the panel.
Also here are my router stats for the morning.

Re: Current Line Speed - Pathetic.

Hi Barrytrcy,
Looking at that I would definitely raise a fault.
