Curious, regarding my connection...

Having been connected to FTTC since the 25th March I must say that I have been most impressed.
Apart from needing to use a TP-Link Wireless Access Point (TP-Link TL-WA901ND) to give me a strong wireless signal, I find the Technicolor very mediocre in that respect, it more than meets my needs. With an estimated speed of 57Mb I am getting 67.8Mb, so all is well and stable. Now that my "stability period" has been established would I compromise anything by unplugging the modem and router, to place it under a cabinet (on a hard floor with plenty of space to get air circulation etc) rather than them both sitting on top of that unit...? When the OR engineer sorted out the installation I did not think about needing to move them but after being sat there on a top for two weeks I would now like to.
Also if a PN staff member could actually comment on how stable the modems connection has been to the exchange I would appreciate that.
Last bit, from my connection going live on the 25th of last month how much longer could I expect it to be before my phone also changes over to PN, from BT....?

I think the phone change is normally 14 days after broadband activation - so 8th April. However you should find closed tickets and service notices relating to your account in the Member Centre Help pages https://portal.plus.net/wizard/?p=search. You need to select a date range and click Go to list closed tickets.

All the tickets that I have seen relate to my FTTC connection and none have been added since that has gone live which relate to my phone line connection. Hopefully it will occur before I get another BT billing month, as such.

I would interpret that to mean phone transfer is yet to be ordered. However that needs to be checked by Plusnet staff who can view the full status of your account.
