My router just went bonkers:
I powered it off and checked al the connections and the connection for the ADSL line in the back of the Thomson router has gone all floppy. Now the router is tucked away with the cable neatly routed so it can't get pulled on so I'm a bit concerned as to why the ADSL socket has gone floppy all of a sudden.

No the whole socket wobbles in the casing - but I've wobbled it a bit and it doesn't to drop the connection so I guess its just a co-incidence

Its' been messing me round again:
Was up, then it dropped and had the following status:
Link Status: Disconnected
Type: PPPoA
Last Error Message: Disconnected because idle timeout reached
Then the DSL line "vanished" - just like it does when the router restarts.
Then it came back with the following:
Uptime: 0 days, 0:00:14
DSL Type: G.992.1 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 1,664
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
So I rebooted it and it connected and disconnected and reconnected:
So does anyone know if BT are messing round on my exchange? (Cheltenham) Nothing has changed at my end.
