Hi folks.
Actually had this problem for quite a while now, and as I've just extended my contract for another 12 months would really like it sorted. I have several devices connected to my router, 2 xbox , 1 desktop , 1 NAS (all ethernet) and several connected wirelessly. Several times a day I have DNS failures, and less often , when I check on the router page, I get 'Your DSL connection is down...'
I have changed the routers DNS settings as Plusnet's own DNS addresses are pretty poor to be honest. So I'm now recently using BT's primary and secondary DNS address. And I'm still getting the drops and now the DSL error.
Kinda hoping I'm not advised to power cycle or reset the router because I have done all of that. Any other suggestions please peeps?

Pickup your phone and listen, crackling and or hissing = phone line fault. Report it to who ever provides your phone line, if not your disconnections will continue
FTTP 500 regrade from Tues 28th November

Cheers for you reply Gus. This has been over the course of a house move though. And there was some problems with the phone, but new handsets seemed to have squared them away. So, I'm leaning toward equipment faults at this point. Could always be wrong though. It's Plusnet who provide phone & b/band, should raise another ticket methinks.

Hi there,
I've posted a graph of your connection:

It seems your line keeps dropping the connection too, I've tested the phone line and it initially found no fault, I'd suggest running through the checks at http://faults.plus.net and if the problem still persists then we can investigate further.
