Consistently dropping connection.

I’m surprised reading through this forum & Twitter that more people don’t complain & that PlusNet simply hasn’t addressed or replied to the issue.

Our broadband like clockwork disconnects everyday.

9pm & 1am and probably other times through the day, but you know, work & all of that.

How hasn’t this been solved?

It’s madness.

Re: Consistently dropping connection.

Have you tried your landline, to see if is working fine? No noise? If there is you may need to raise a fault.

A 17070 option 2 quiet line test will help. You should hear nothing, but any noise could be affecting your broadband. Try disconnecting everything first, to rule out it being a dodgy bit of equipment, and ideally just try something in the master socket or even better the test socket.

@robsonben All these problems you see reported do not have the same causes, which is why they are reported as separate issues, and resolved (hopefully) by different means.

In your case , it might be helpful if you could post your router logs, so someone could see if there was a pattern, or reason for these drops,

As a thought, do you have any electrical equipment on a timer that runs at these times?
