Connection refused to www.scouts.org.uk

Please can someone check/verify whether they have trouble as well?
Sorry if this is the wrong place for such a post/request/question.

Due to the latest EU Child Protection Regulations the site is only viewable by people who have passed the special CRB(Online) check.  Wink

Are you still having problems viewing this site? It's showing up for me now.

Re: Connection refused to www.scouts.org.uk

Hi Chris
I've been having DNS problems, which Bob is looking into (see the PUG forums).  I don't know if this is related as I'm not on a Plusnet connection at the moment.

Re: Connection refused to www.scouts.org.uk

Hi Jelv, glad to see someone understands my sense of humour. Just going through a CRB check for the scouts so seemed very appropriate. Unfortunately you have to be CRB checked separately for each organisation you are involved with.

Re: Connection refused to www.scouts.org.uk

Yes, it works today.
No, it wasn't DNS. Same error with just the IP address - it was definitely a connection refused (/IP reset).
Ho ho re: the CRB Smiley
The person who was trying to access the site has been CRB'd (multiple times for multiple purposes).
I'm wondering whether there's any mileage in spec'ing up an April 1st style RFC for a CRB-over-IP protocol Smiley
Thanks everyone !
