Connection issues

Hi my connection has been very unstable lately with lots of connection drops and slow speeds and having to restart the router to get the connection back. Here is a ping monitor from the last 2 and a half hours .

Not nice! What were you doing whilst that was happening, as I can see it has been much better since 10pm.

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Thanks for reply , its strange as that is when my sons turned their computers off .

Do your sons use P2P software? If so I suspect they have not restricted the upload speed and it's swamping the line.

No, they mainly just watch youtube and online gaming .

The online gaming might be using P2P for updates.

I can't see it being that as this problem only started a couple of weeks ago and i know when the games are to update as its on xbox that they play online.
