Connection dropping

I've had plusnet for 3 weeks and although the speed is ok the connection drops all the time meaning that I can't stream anything for longer than 10 minutes or so. Any idea what causes this?

Is it wifi connection to your router that's dropping or is router losing connectivity?

I've not had the chance to connect with an ethernet yet as the point is miles away from my computer/tv. I'll check the internet light next time it drops to see if it's the wifi or not.

We've seen a couple of disconnections but not a significant amount:

Let us know how it goes if you can test an ethernet cable.

Thanks for the graphic, that's helpful. I've just switched to another socket that had been painted shut and things seem to be running much smoother! I think that may be problem solved.
