Connecting a DGN2200 to a DGN1000 wirelessly

OK, so this may not be possible but lets see who fancies a challenge !!
Main router is a DGN2200, works great.
I have my old DGN1000 and want to use this in a different room to be able to plug a wired device into the network using the old DGN1000 kinda like a bridge....I dont really want to spend out on more equipment unless I have to, but after looking through several forums I have a feeling that the DGN1000 does not like being a bridge....any help would be wonderful !
Cheers

Depends whether your DGN1000 is capable of working in AP Client Mode. If it does then great.  Smiley

I'm pretty sure that the DGN1000 doesn't support Client Mode but that's exactly what you need. Have a look at this thread http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,98030.0.html ; there's a couple of reasonably cheap router/APs on there that WILL support client mode.
