The phone switched over around 3pm on the 7th - it went on and off several times, before finally remaining on. A local friend tried several times ring me to test the line, it seemed to ring from his end, but there was nothing here (I'll investigate that more later). Others tried, including my mobiles and they worked fine.
Concerned that the DSL was on, but no internet, I rang PN to see if there might be an issue. PN said it would likely be fully operational just after midnight and I would receive a text message when it was on. I tried it several times after midnight, but nothing and no text message - however broadband was fully working this morning.
