i.e. the equivalent of pressing the Connect/Disconnect button at http://192.168.1.254/cgi/b/bb/?be=0&l0=2&l1=-1
If it's not possible, is there any way to do it, other than via a web browser?

I had a quick look but couldn't spot what was needed.

ppp ifattach intf=Internet
ppp ifdetach intf=Internet
Note that "Internet" is case dependant.

With a little PowerPro script, I can now disconnect and reconnect (or just one or the other) in about 3 seconds, with a single click. That's quicker and easier than with (even) an open browser.

I'm actual fact I'm about to revert to my trusty 2700HGV, I'm fed up with this 582 resyncing every couple of days.
I like a nice stable line for voip purposes and so try to do an initial sync in the late evening, ok it loses a little potential speed but with the 2700 it would then hold sync for weeks on end. The TG582n insists on resyncing every few days for no apparent reason...
