Confused about figures.

For those still interested:
I had a BTOR engineer visit yesterday afternoon (as promised) - strangely the same one who came on my one and only previous problem (with Tiscali) and to say he was brilliant is an understatement.
His 'visit' - to me, the local poles, my cab and my exchange must have been 3.1/2 - 4 hours, but in the end my result has been fantastic.
His original plan was to eliminate my internal wiring by repositioning the master socket, but after tests at the cab, that was discarded, and he decided to visit the exchange. My E-side connection was moved - from an ancient connection to a new one.
I now have a line which sync'ed at 12928 and 6dB downstream SNR at the exchange - the guy actually rang PN from the exchange for me and got them to adjust their side to 10850.
He finally left the exchange at 1840, having verified the line was stable and waiting until the PN adjustment had settled down.
Pity I can't contact BTOR direct to pass on my appreciation, but maybe if any of the DCT team see this they have a way of saying 'Thanks, John'.

If you're still watching, Chris, my PN profile seems to have fallen back to 2.6Mbps - on a solid 10.85 connection that seems a bit low?

Not a complaint - a question:
Connection speed = 10.85
PN profile = 9.75
Speed test =  2.8 at best (lower than I was getting before)
Something I need to do, or something wrong somewhere?

Can you give your router a quick restart to see if this does the trick please?

Thats done it Chris, but it has upped connection speed to 11.562Mbps - thought I was set @ 10.851?

Great stuff.
Your sync rate can differ depending on when the re-sync occurs which is why our Speed Profile on our system updates in a regular basis.
You've not synced at 11560 which should give you a profile on our side to 10100 - I've done this for you. I'd expect to see this update on your side within the next 4 hours.

Oh dear - it gets worse.
Had to reboot the router again to get my laptop network adapter to wake up, so I've probably borked what you did Chris.
Going out for 5 or 6 hours now, so I'll set RSL running again and see what happens.

Your speeds are just fine. Syncing at 11504.
If you ensure your router is left on and we'll see how your connection fairs out.

Never gets switched off - unless I have this problem with laptops wireless adapter - in normal day-to-day running.

Further update (I'm sure it will settle down soon)
Had to reboot the router last night - something had upset my NIC (although it was showing as OK), and my iPad wouldn't connect to the network, which is making me suspect a problem with the router  - I hope not.
The gap in the Radius logs at about 2150 - 2215 is intentional as is the one around 1300 - any others are not.
Any chance of a sight of the logs please Chris?
