Confirmation Call Before Installation.... ?

I'm due to have an engineer arrive on the 26th, between 8am and 1pm to install line,
for broadband.
This morning I received a call from 01142 610500 (Openreach ?).
The call was really garbled, almost unintelligible. I could just about make out
'26th November', '8am' and '1pm'.  And something like 'Press 1 to confirm'.
So I did.
There was some more talk, but I couldn't make them out.
Did I do the right thing, and is there anything I missed.
I've tried phoning the 0114 number, but its engaged.
And I've tried Plusnet Support Chat, but there was a 28 person queue, and that had only reduced
to 26 after 5 minutes.

Hi there,
I can confirm that this call will have been to confirm the appointment for your phone line installation and this is showing on our systems as still going ahead so I cannot see you having pressed anything incorrect etc.
So no worries from this side Smiley
