I know this is a long shot but I wonder if anyone changed from the Vigor 2710n to Vigor 2760, and found the 2760 syncs much slower than the 2710n

@glloyd - check you have the latest firmware, as I've noticed that this can make a difference.

There are a number of different modem codes you can apply to the 2760. Check the firmware release notes for details. I tried various on my 2730 and got up to 1Mb increase in sync from the standard.

Thanks MisterW. I could only find one version. I wonder which version you used and where did you find it?

According to the release notes for the 2760 firmware here http://www.draytek.co.uk/download/support/readme_v2760_1xx.txt
Notes About Modem Code ---------------------- In most circumstances, the default modem code is suitable for your DSL line. Menu Network>>WAN>>DSL Mode allows you to select variant modem code to display DSL firmware for upload. Click the browse button to choose the suitable modem code and then click Apply. These are the available modem code files: All ADSL lines in the UK & Ireland are Annex A type. "Vigor2760_AnnexA_STD.zip" contains modem code 548006_544401 (Standard). "Vigor2760_AnnexA_532816_533B11.zip" is modem code 532816_533B11. "Vigor2760_AnnexA_531A16_533011.zip" is modem code 531A16_533011. "Vigor2760_AnnexA_541316_540411.zip" is modem code 541316_540411. "Vigor2760_AnnexA_542016_533B11.zip" is modem code 542016_533B11. "Vigor2760_AnnexA_547916_544411.zip" is modem code 547916_544411. "Vigor2760_AnnexA_567517_562301.zip" is modem code 547916_562301.
Sounds like you can upload different modem code from the router GUI as opposed to my 2730 where it's a complete firmware upload

Thank you I'll give it a go as soon as I get a moment. Trying to stop the roof from leaking after a storm.

Hi, unfortunately those modem codes are for V1 firmware where as my router uses Drayteks own V3. That has three modem options built in but they don't seem to make much difference.
