Homephone has free evening and weekend calls for £9.99
and as improvement Essential phone only includes weekend for £10, isnt that a much better deal
Plus trying to find the complete details of Essentials is difficult   there are * and 1. and 2. look for more details and it takes you back to the index.
?  if you just want the broadband is it £6.99  of £6.99*  (what is the *)?

It's easier to think of it as Essential being £16.99.  Never mind the £6.99 marketing point.
The asterisk means that the £6.99 pricing point for broadband is only available on the Essential Bundle.

Haha what a change! Certainly made me smile the first time I logged in.
The colours and artwork remind me of the Little Miss Sunshine Mr Men book my 3 year old niece always wants me to read her. She should love this site!
Not sure I like the colours or the logo. Need to be a bit more edgy or darker for the Internet enthusiast like myself.
Guessing the aim of the new design is to go more mainstream and family friendly. In which case I'd say the design is spot on. Certainly less threatening for the average customer. Hope the design won't lead to watering down of the content of the site. Been able to get all the techy details makes for fascinating reading at times, seeing how you guys have put everything together.
Overall I'm really liking the layout. Works for me fine. Easy to read and navigate. Oh and thank you thank you thank you for whoever decided to centre the alignment of the Portal. Makes the site much easier to read when I'm on other machines with larger screens.

are you saying that is a total bundle and that you cant just have broadband?

Yes.  You can *only* take the £6.99 broadband as part of Essential.

I notice that we have 2 links to the Forum.  One where it says Home...Blogs...Polls...Forum,  and another in the line below it  Forum....Search...Calendar...etc.    Is this second one necessary now?

Yup.
the top link is the header of the Community Site.  The lower ones are part of the forum design.
BTW - It was like this before the refresh.

Just one small thing.. How about changing the icon that appears on the forum browser tabs to reflect the new forum colour scheme?

I'd say that's quite unlikely given the amount of work it would take to make the changes.
