Does anyone know the maximum throughput of a Cisco 877 while routing between two vlan interfaces on the physical fast ethernet ports and not on the ADSL port?
I have successfully set up the PPPoE client on an old 2621 to connect direct to an Openreach modem and run the FTTC connection.
The problem is that although the connection runs perfectly, the 2621 is limiting the speed to around 23Mbps.
Ideally I would like a Cisco 887 to completely remove the Openreach modem but unfortunately they are a little outside of the budget I am planning.
The next best option I can think off is to use the PPPoE client in an 877 and keep the Openreach modem for the time being.
