I'm really sorry that you're having speed issues.

Let us know how it goes once an engineer's investigated the problem which should be by the close of play on the 24th. 

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

@losimagic  I would say the speeds are so bad it could be a single line disconnect, where one of the phone line wires is broken somewhere. This stops the phone working but the broadband can struggle on at very low speed.

@RealAleMadrid That sounds very plausible, thank you, Hopefully they can sort it quickly.

Such a strange coincidence that it happened after changing hardware, like last time! The usual IT gremlins I suppose!

Finally fixed today! There was a break in the line underground.

It took all this time because of Openreach strikes (understandable) and the following backlog, combined with a very heavy workload in the area.
