Cessation charge "active"

Hi

I am near the end of my Plusnet BB contract, and unfortunately looks like I will have to move away from Plusnet and not renew as Plusnet is too expensive.

When I checked my account I noticed that there's an 'active' cessation fee of £30. I tried clicking on the link to find out about this fee, but the link only directs to this page https://portal.plus.net/help/my-account/ that doesnt help me out.

Any idea as to what this is. I wasnt aware of any fees to pay once out of contract.

I searched the forum and found this similar post, where it was confirmed at the end that it doesnt apply any more:

https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Account-Billing/Leaving-PlusNet-Cessation-Fee/td-p/1570965

Can anybody reconfirm this to me?

Thanks

Re: Cessation charge "active"

I thought this charge was payable if the customer moved to an ISP not using the BT network, even if he/she is out of contract?
